Why Did You Decide To Become a Dentist?
As the son of an orthodontist, Dr. Cook knew from an early age that he wanted to have a career that would allow him to make positive changes in people’s lives, and dentistry seemed like the best way to do this. He also liked that dentistry allowed him to form one-on-one relationships with his patients and provide local families with a centralized dental home.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
A Columbus native, Dr. Cook attended The Ohio State University for both his undergraduate and dental degrees, and he’s proud to be a true Ohio dentist! Over the years, he has dedicated much of his free time to completing continuing education courses in order to refine and grow his skillset, and he often attends trainings and seminars through his memberships in the following organizations:
- The American Dental Association®
- The Ohio Dental Association
- The Spectrum Dental Society
- The Capital City Dental Study Club
- Spear Education
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like To Do?
When he isn’t spending time with his family or relaxing with his cat and dog, Dr. Cook likes to go hiking, snowboarding, rollerblading and wakeboarding. He also frequently attends concerts and music festivals, and on most weekends, you’ll find him cheering on his beloved Buckeyes and Buffalo Bills.
